Does IEC61850 OPC Server (CET) support bit string?
I have some problems with remote control of circuit breakers and disconnectors via IEC61850 MMS communication.
The control system is 800xa and the relays are Siemens Siprotec relays.
In other projects with other relay manufacturers, the remote control via IEC61850 has always been the same (SBO principle). A control selection is being sent, then a selection status = True is received from the relay, and after that the final control operation command is being sent to the relay.
The principle of operation is the same with Siemens, except they are using synch- and interlock check. This is a bit string that the control system needs to sent to the relay. This bit string is then telling the relay to synchrocheck, interlockcheck or no check at all (please se attached picture). When we are testing we would like no check at all, and would like to sent a bit string to the relays to tell that.
The problem comes then, when we import the .scd file, made in IET600, in the IEC61850 OPC server (CET). In CET this check bit string CSWI\Pos\Oper\Check is gone.
My question is then: Does anybody know if CET doesn't support this type, or why this check bit isn't imported in CET?

Please try to change the following parameters on the specific IED, in CET:
(9ARD171387-510C System 800xA IEC 61850 5.1 Connect Configuration - page 39)
Both parameters must be set to "TRUE". They are false by default. For Siemens IEDs, you must do that. I had this problem in a commissioning 4 years ago, and this helped me.
Let me know if this works for you too.
