multisystem integration , remote server showing RAS connection failed
Answers
Hi!
Was RAS already connected or you just could not connect it?
1. DCOM settings,
2. RAS (through Configuration Wizard),
3. RAC: correct IP address and login/password (in remote client service)
should be configured
Error codes?
We've had a few problems with MI so I suggest that you file a proper support case with your regional ABB support organisation to get things sorted out.
Common problems:
- Incorrect connect account/password
- Incorrect encryption password (a complete different thing than the above)
- Incorrect setting of account/password (*MUST* be done from locally running Plant Explorer, NOT remotely).
- Problems after upgrading either side with a more recent rollup than the other
- Misc problems with FSD (requiring deep knowledge or create a new connection, i.e. start from scratch with new upload, etc.)
- Incompatible content, e.g. provider has AO loaded but not subscriber
- etc

thanks for your answers.
I uninstall RAS ( multi system integration service ) in both system & reinstall the services , now its working fine.
