800A restore error (More then one node is mapped to the same node)
Hi all,
I receive one strange error message during restoring of fullbackup in 800xA 5.1.4-2 (FP 4) - Melody Connect.
Full backup was taken from 800xA system 5.0 (Melody Connect).
When I have mapped primary Aspect server AS01 to current node - following message pop up:
"More than one node is mapped to the same node." (See attached screenshot).
But I have selected only one node!
Do anybody knows why this strange message pop up?
I am not able to continue the restore of original system.
Thanks
Tomas

Hello,
Always its recomended to map existing node AS1 to any single node/restoring node by right clicking the restored node names to map.
Ensure no system is running before restoring the system (It will not allow to load 2 systems in same node).
If the restore runs in a different system than the backup was made in, a primary node in the backup system must be remapped to the node your are running the restore on.
You remap a node by right-clicking the node in the restored system, and changing the node name.
You may two nodes with the same name in the backup you are trying to restore, correct this in Node Administration Structure on the original system and then make a new backup. You can view the Node names under the original nodes in backup tab in the configuration wizard.
Hi all,
After your suggestion I went through all node names and I have found out there are some with same names. But there are so many nodes so that is why we did not find this earlier. We did not have access to original system where the full-backup was created. So we were not able to correct the backup.
So we have renamed the nodes with the same names and then the restore process could be completed.
Thank all of you for your answers.
