Panel Builder 600 integrate with Automation Builder 2.0.x (1.0)
Hi all,
I've tried to follow this document and everything works fine until step number 8. I don't get any tags to import into the CP600 Project. The communication protocol and PLC settings are correct in the Panel Builder.
What's wrong? I know that I'm missing something.
Best Regards,
SAMUEL

Hi,
There is no document attached.
Assuming you are using ABB Codesys ETH driver, it is important to have the symbols available in the .sym file, which you will be using to import the tags.
After performing symbol configuration in codesys and downloading the program, from the context menu of the codesys application in automation builder, export the symbol file to a location on the computer. To verify whether the symbol file contains the necessary tags, open the file in microsoft text and check.
Also, in the codesys project, go to Target Settings...General and then select Download symbol file. This setting is necessary.
In case you are using Modbus TCP protocol, the tags with Modbus addresses assigned must be first exported as a .exp file .From the file bowser in Tags tab of CP600 select the .exp file containing the concerned global variables.
