A breakpoint has been reached
my customer struggles with a "A breakpoint has been reached" popup window.
As soon as it pops up by clicking an aspect view link, the workplace will shutdown.
It only appears on the terminal server and not on the aspect server.
I restarted the machine and rejoined the domain - nothing changed
SV is 800xA 6.0.3
That was a strange one... I find it hard to believe a breakpoint (a debug feature) has been left in the factory default codebase.
Does it happen for all workplaces when activating an aspect link?
Or is the problem tied to one particular workplace? Try isolating what triggers this by making a copy of the workplace and shave off piece by piece from it.
If the problem affects all workplaces, it might be a generic issue - seek help from the regional ABB support team.
In my opinion you should not spend to much time trying things.
When the box appears, use the task manager to create a dump of the process.
Send it to the regional ABB support. They can probably provide a hint what the problem is.
The configuration of your customer may cause it, but there is definitely an issue in the software too.
