Failed to update remote node: RPC Server unavailable
I got a error message while adding the redundant connectivity server through the configuration wizard add
" Failed to update remote node due to : RPC server unavailable".
Please see the attachement.
Any easy work around to fix this solution.
I could able to see the node in RNRP monitor.
This message is usually caused by errors in the computer name resolution. Eg wrong name, wrong IP address in the DNS, wrong IP address in the hosts file, incorrect primary or redundant network card setup etc.
Check that you can ping the computer you are trying to add by name ( not just IP ) from the Aspect server(s) and the other connectivity server. If using a Domain, check the fully qualified domain name lookup ( using dnslookup )
