3 wire Pt100 Temperature Incorrect .
Dear All,
In my current project I am using PM573 and Other IO (Remote IO also)
For tempature control we are using 3 Wire Pt100,
But in commissioning I comes to know its show wrong tempature.
So I have tried with calibrited meter for create perticular resistance and also tried to connect direct resistance to modules.
( I have triend all chanel of my AI523, I have also changed base, Module, AX522 and AX521, also changed position of ZP and UP)
Varation of tempature is vary form 1 to 2 Degree.
Does any others have goes through this problem?

Hello!
Taken from the documentation:
Conversion error of the analog values caused
by non-linearity, adjustment error at factory and
resolution within the normal range
Typ. 0.5 %, max. 1 %
Can that acount for the error? It seems a little higher...

It depends on resolution of your analog input card.
Shielding of analog signal and proper grounding may be one of the reason.
Kindly check in datasheet.
Hello,
Can you explain us, how you come to know that there is temparature variations of 1-2 degrees? This will help us to understand problem clearly.
I hope you have made proper configuration e.g check attachment capture 1
Certain methods are available to check PT100 accuracy. Very simple method is attached please check capture 2 . By this activity we will come to know the transducer reliablility.
Also if possible, can you please share your result with the resistance value?

Nirav,
I have had the same issue with the three wire PT100. My temperature difference was +-5. I would suggest you to check Cjc compensation.
