Need to Combine Two Different Alarm List of Alarm Expression For Display
Answers
There are two major filter options (a third is added in later feature pack strain of 5.1 and in general release of 6.0) available in System 800xA which takes you a long way if you know them well:
1) Attribute
2) Objects and Descendants
3) Member of PG2 graphic aspect (* late 5.1 FP/6.0 only)
Option 1) can be reinforced by adding a custom attribute using Event Attribute Definitions. Search ABB Library for an aging bulletin describing a problem with adding an attribute the wrong way. Sorry, unable to provide document number right now.
Option 2) can be reinforced by inserting objects of alarm interest into another location or even structure and perform filtering there instead of at original position. Remember, filtering is based on objects not relations, to filter for alarms from 10 different objects this way, you must insert 10 objects and filter above the common instertion plint.
In alarm list config view, You need to select object and Descendant as filter, in this way you can filter for your particular objects/Area.
There is also a "Runtime filter" that can be used to filter based on Attributes like Class etc and you need to find uniqueness between your areas and use them in single alarm list for filter and then at runtime , you can click on those filter names to get as you desire.
