Can any one check for the mistake in this..Im not able to communicate with CI853.
If the file is not clear, i will send in mail. Pls have a look.
Hardware connections are ok. But there is some mistake in Logic/configuration which im not able to identify.
It is almost impossible (at least for me) to read the text in your pictures, so maybe my assumptions below are not entirely correct.
It looks like you have two MBConnects in two different programs, but only one MODBUS in the HW tree. That indicates that you are using multidrop. If so, be aware that only one slave can be addressed at the time. The pictures does not tell me whether you have considered this or not. If you are not using multidrop, remove one of the connect blocks.
I cannot read the parameters (Channel, Partner and StartAddr), are you sure that you have the right values?
I do not understand why you are using a pulse generator in combination with Ndr-output from read block. If you are using multidrop this configuration would have no impact since you have to activate the slaves in sequence.
There seems to be no traffic on your serial interface since there are no error indicators on the read blocks. What kind of slaves do you have? Do they support FC8? Are the port settings correct, and in line with the slaves?
Would also like some background information. Has this stopped working, or has it never been in operation?
