PCM600 - Import ICD file to Generic IEC61850 IED fail
Hello Everyone,
I have to first say that I'm new to ABB software PCM600.
I'm trying to get a working GOOSE communication between an ABB RES670 and a Siemens SIPROTEC 5 IED.
After configuring my SIPROTEC IED, I exported his description as an ICD file. When I try to import it in a Generic IEC61850 IED in PCM600, I get the error :
" No IED of matching type found from the import file. SCL-file not imported."
Can someone help me to get working GOOSE communication with third-party equipment ?
Thanks for your help,
Best regards.
Christophe

Hi,
While importing the CID file ,you will get a pop-up menu for the SCL Import option. There untick the "Dont import IEDs of unknown type" and Select "Replace unknown IED types with Generic IEC 61850 object type" . Your SCL configuration will be imported to the PCM project
Hope this will solve your problem

I resolved the problem of the import by just checking the case "Ignore PCM Object Type" and by keeping "Don't iport IED of unknown type".
Thanks for the help
