If you have succeeded with getting (any) sound to play you have passed the first (but often the biggest!) hurdle: to get the little, tiny Audible Alarm tool into the application bar of the workplace.
If only system alarms play but not process, check the following:
1. The Audible Alarm configuration (I believe you can have one common in the Library Structure or a dedicated placed on the workplace object which takes precedence) must point to an alarm list with an appropriate filter. Only one filter can be active. Test the appointed list, does it contain the process alarms?
2. The Audible Alarm Sound configuration works similarly. One common, or one per workplace. Do you have sounds configured for the priority level(s) your process alarms deliver?
3. Is the sound file (.WAV or .MP3) available in the client? Non-standard files must be distributed manually to the clients where the sound shall play.
4. The rule is: priority level takes precedence! A prio 1 alarm sound with "Momentary" setting will block a prio 2 alarm sound with "Continuous". I.e the prio 1 sound will play once and then silence until the prio 1 alarm has left the list when the prio 2 alarm will start to play continuously.

Is this true that only one alarm list is available for audible configuration?
This seems highly ,,,, NOT flexible. I get the priority/severity mapping to different sounds, although the manuals have inconsistent explanations.
I would like to map areas with different sounds. Seems very limited that I can use only one alarm list configuration (template??), for one alarm list, set to one area, for one workplace configuration.
Please tell me there is a way to use more than one list?
( maybe more than one "Audible Alarm Workplace Configuration" aspect per workstation...)
