Freelance License
My setup is
6 redundant PM592-ETH PLCs communicating through CodeSys OPC to Freelance V 2016.
4 PCs have following installation;
1- Control Builder v2.3.0, Freelance V2016 Engineering station. (1 PC)
2- CodeSys OPC & Alarm Configurator V3.5, Freelance V2016 Operator station, OPC tunnel. (3 PCs)
So, which type and how many licenses should i order for this setup.
Thanks.

Hi asad1837,
For this kind of setup You would need:
> Control Builder licence (the type and any additional licences depend on which functions You will use - for example You will be needing the High Avaliability library)
> Freelance Engineering licence (Standard or Professional)
> 3x Freelance Operations licence (either Lite or Standard, depending on the number of Graphic Displays used; there is alo an additional licence if You need dual monitor support)
You do not need any licence for CoDeSys OPC Servers nor for Freelance OPC Clients (this functions are build-in). Freelance does not count the OPC signals as IOs, so the signals comming from AC500s don't need Freelance licencing.
May I ask why are You using Freelance with AC500 instead of some native controllers, like AC 900F? Wouldn't it be easier?
Hope this helps,
Mike
