Audit Trail not showing Nodename for Operator actions
Hi All,
We have recently created and AUDIT EVENT LIST to keep a track on operator's activity(false operation).
In the Admin Structure, for Audit trail Config, we have only selected "Log selected audit event classes" tab and then "AuditEvent_OperatorAction". Then from library structure Common audit list configuraion, I have only selected Operator Action type events.
Is their any other settings are required to know the operating station details as node name for the modification done for process parameters through faceplates (eg.- changing parameter value from 1 to 5 or soemthing else)

To exhaustively explain this topic:
Events of category "Process Simple Events" are generated by SimpleEventDetector blocks running in an AC 800M controller
Output from SimpleEventDetector
The AC 800M controller code is not aware of if the triggering signal came via an order from the OPC Server / HMI, or from IO or process logic (a sine or square wave can drive a SimpleEventDetector, fully autonomous).
Events of AuditEvent_OperatorAction are generated by the HMI when a user attempt to write to an OPC server. Here, node and user name are well known, and logged.

As I did answer on your first thread: yes, these attributes are made visible in the factory default Common Audit List Configuration.

May I ask, what is your concern when asking the same question twice?
Obviously, a list must be properly filtered, either using "no object filter" (=All alarms) or using e.g. Objects and Descendants and put on a parent object for a set of children for which audit is desired. I suggest starting with no filter at all, other than using the configuration from Library Structure.
It is possible to restore factory default settings by importing "C:\Program Files (x86)\ABB 800xA\Base\import\10\AdvAe_09_DefaultListConfigurations.afw". The path differs a little bit different in versions prior 6.0 but the AFW file is the same.
