HARMONY OPC server with HPC800
have someone experience with using HARMONY OPC server with HPC800. It is in INFY90 price book in wizard. But there is written in HARMONY OPC server data sheet that
The Harmony OPC Server software provides OPC® connectivity
between the ABB INFI 90 / Symphony Harmony / Symphony
Plus Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and OPC Clients."
It would be nice if I can be sure that this connection works. So please let me know your example of use this connection on your project please.
Thank you in advance.

Hi. You firstly need HOPC 6.0 to talk directly in the ethernet PN800 via a PNI800. If you have an existing Infinet loop (with an appropraite CIU/ICI) then you could possibly use older versions but will also need an IEB800 gateway. The rest is quite straight forward as far as OPC setup goes. The software is easy to use. Just follow the manuals. If you need to communicate with another OPC server you will also need something like OPC datalink (OPC Srv - SRV software). The connection is stated (for v6) that it will communicated with a PNI800 which is needed to communicate with an HPC800 ctrl nw.
im guessing you mean HPG800, and no, the harmony opc server wont interface with it. You need the IET800 or ICI13 if using harmony rack, PNI800 is using plant network 800.
