CBS- "Afwconfigwizard MFC "application crashed
We are going to work at ABB AC800M HI Safety PLC with SM811, and software is Control Builder Safe.
I dont need a domain connection , so I just created 800xaservice account firstly (and having a local admin account at starting already) .
I have made the installation done with "800xaservice account" only , and skipped creating the 800xaInstaller user, as i am not going to work in domain in this project.( I am not sure I have done that right or not ?? )
I am having a backup of Control Builder safe system ,having exactly same software/application/system/controllers,etc.
But after successfull installation of CBS in my 64-bit system, I made a hit for Restoring that backup.
Following things occurred :
1) At first it dont let me to proceed with 800xaservice account, saying you dont have Administrative previlige.
Still I made attempt of restoration with Configuration Wizard,on my Pc Local Admin account, but it shows me error in Log file :
Fri Mar 20 15:11:43 2015: Internal error detected
Fri Mar 20 15:11:43 2015: File: .\ServiceHandler.cpp
Fri Mar 20 15:11:43 2015: Line: 137
Fri Mar 20 15:11:43 2015: Last HRESULT = 0x80070005
2) Later I again tried and log file is like:
Fri Mar 20 15:13:20 2015: Server CBS_REWARI-PC returned error code: 0x8ABB1028, E_AFW_SM_PENDING(0x8abb1028) The service is pending.

I am attaching the Log file.
3) At the end I now created a New system on my Pc. And the Base is now active, with all services ok.
4) So, after this i tried to make a restoration now, but it is showing me a popup with error:
"afwconfigwizard MFC application has stopped working" Andin its View Details option it is showing Application has crashed.
Thus, at current stage all other services are working fine & active, also engineering tool. But, I am not able to enter even in "Restore " option in configuration wizard.
A) Please help how I can reinstall that "Restore" option in config wizard ??
B) Also, please suggest when previously at starting point when the Restore option is working fine( but that File: .\ServiceHandler.cpp, fault is coming in lofg file) . Was that because I have not inserted the License dongle at that time??
Is it mandatory to use dongle, while restoring a backup??
(FAULT IMAGE & LOG FILE IS ATTACHED)
Please support !!
I have very limited experience with Control Builder Safe (isn't it stand alone like Compact Control Builder, ie not coupled with an 800xA aspect system/server?).
Only one system is permitted per server, that is why you can not restore after having created a system. To enable restore, stop & delete the existing system.
Administrative rights must be held by the service account and also the account performing the system administration duties (restore, create, etc). Did you logout and back in again after joining the Administrators group in Windows? You can always execute a "whoami /all" command and examine the output for groups of interest.
I can't tell what causes the restore to fail. Is the backup known to be good? Can you try restoring it elsewhere, eg in a clone of AS1 from the source system?
Do also check that your software installation is correct, eg compare with the setup in the source system. DCT can be used to easily retrieve and compare software versions. There are documents on ABB SolutionsBank/Library that lists compatible versions (xxx System Software Versions).
I also sincerely recommend you to contact your regional ABB support center to get a proper support case going.
