Tab Workplace - Unable to locate base Pane
I am usinng 800xA5.1 FP4 , with 2 redundant aspect servers.
On server 1 the tab workplace is working fine. But when I conect the secondary aspect server I get the message "Unable to Locate Base Pane". I have read all the questions here about the subject and all the anwswer refer to a misconfiguration. But this is not my case because on one station is working properly. I also try the project on a test virtual machine and the workplace is working fine over there.
So I am sure that is some thing realated to the software installation on the equipmnet. Any idea of what could be the problem/ and most important the solution?

The workplace configuration should be equal since its entirely stored in the aspect directory.
You can always check as aspect directory synchronization with this command:
C:\> afwsysinfo -csd
Are you using the same account and regional settings? xA support localization, ie an object or aspect may have a different name in another locale (eg US English vs Swedish). If the problem follows the locale (language), we're probably dealing with a NLS problem. There are tools on ABB Library with which you can find and correct NLS inconsistencies.
After ruling out sync and NLS issues I would try to remove, and then reinstall the 800xA Base software to the same service pack and rollup level as before.

If for some reason in a several monitor environment the windows menu (Principal screen) on the operating system is not the first one on the left , it gives the "unable to locate Base Pane".
So the solution is go to screen display and change the order of the screens.
