Automation Builder 1.1, CoDeSys and SYCON.net
Thanks for reading.
I downloaded/installed Automation Builder 1.1 which came with CoDeSys 2.3.9. In the documentation it seems to be able to Configure a PLC In CoDeSys, SYCON.net is required. I don't seem to have the SYCON.net shortcut in my CoDeSys Tools window -- was this supposed to be installed w/ the Automation Builder install?
If not is there an ABB licensed version (of SYCON.net) that I need to download or do I need to purchase seperately?

Hi,
If you have Automatin Builder, or Control Builder Plus; you don't have to configure PLC via SYCON.Net.
I/O mapping, I/O modules, CPU parameters etc. are configured by Automation Builder or Control Builder Plus.

Hello!
Sycon.net is for making coupler configuration in CPU's with firmware v1.xx. They are now in classic mode and is about to leave prooduction.
On the side of your CPU you can check the 1SAP number if it ends with R0170 it is a v1xx CPU.
If you use CPU's with a fiirmware v2.xx you can make all the config in Control Builder+.
