Color Definition for Alarm List PropertiesColor names
I have a Custom Alarm Color Definition in my system and attached to my Alarm List Configuration. However the Properties on the Alarm List "AlarmIndicationBackgroundColor" and "AlarmIndicationForegroundColor" are still giving the Color Names as in the default Configuration. I even tried to edit the Standard "Common Alarm Color Definition" Colors but this didn't change anything (do i have to restart something for this to update?).
So is there a way to get my custom Colors referenced there or where are these Color names coming from?
What i want to do is a Graphic Element similar to the "Alarm Band", having the correct Colors for any Alarm List connected (based on its Configuration).
This is on a 800xA 5.1 FP4 System.

I am not able to understand the problem exactly but the color names come from "Logical Colors Definition" aspects found in Workplace Structure > Web System Workplace.
If you want to use your own Alarm Color Definition then you only need to set it as the Color Definition in Color tab of your Alarm List Configuration.
I've repeated this in 5.1 FP4 RevD in my reference lab - the color name returned by the Alarm List property seem to come from some statically defined array, and not from the actual logical color table in use by the alarm list.
Please report this problem to your regional ABB support team so that we get a proper support case going.

This was same issue for me in our project. Only way is to get a fix from supportline .
We where upgrading the system from PPB to 800xa at that time many features where not avaialble in 800xa. But after contating supportline thay ask to contact regional sale support or prodcut manager.
