Restart of Event Storage Service
We are experiencing lack of events in the event list. The content of the event list differs depending on which server I log on to (I've tested 3 aspects servers, and one terminal server). No one look the same. One thing is though in common, and it is that the event list look the same for events earlier than late September when a technical correction was installed (800xA Base S-FP 5.1.4 TC10).
From what I've seen in AKS it may be related to the event storage. Do you think this is correct?
If so, you earlier advised to cold start (delete the Service Provider in the Service Group) and I wonder if this is applicable when you have two storages? I.e. delete both and recreate them.
Is there a risk to loose old events in the system?
Is it possible to delete one storage at a time in order to not loose new event during the recreation of the event storages?

I sincerely recommend to ask local ABB support to file a support case for this problem.
The Event Storage service is responsible for keeping events in the 800xA Base system. Replication requires a good network connection and I've seen Event Storage service providers becoming isolated (not replicating) following a network disturbance.
Even though you may configure up to three (3) aspect servers, you must restrict the Event Storage service group to two (2) service providers. A lost synchronization will not become restored by reducing a group of three down to only two; only reduce the possible different "versions" to two instead of three.
If restart of the Event Storage service does not resume synchronization of new events (it should...) cold start will. Cold start the odd provider keeping the other.
