USB printer compatibility with Panel 800 V5.1 (PP865)
We are experiencing problems in finding a printer that will work together with a Panel 800 V5.1 (PP865). We are trying to use a monochrome laser printer that supports the printer class PCL5e (HP LaserJetPro 400). On the panel's instructions one can see this type of printer should work, but it won't work with us.
We have tried to use other type of printers always confirming first, they match the specified printer type and class but none is working.
Could anyone suggest what can be done in this situation?
This is an issue we've been experimenting with several panels for some time now.
Has it something to do with type of USB port maybe (USB1.1 vs USB2.0)?
We would appreciate any help.

It should work but there are some factors to consider.
The support for PCL3e, PCL5c or PCL5e needs to be native. Which means that no driver/software is required for the printer in question to support PCL5c or PCL5e.
The PCL5c or PCL5e must be implemented in the printers firmware, not handled by the PC's printer driver or that the PLC5 driver is simulated.
