800xA system restore problem
Hi,
I'm trying to make a valid system restore on 800xA v5.0. So I stopped/deleted the system and started the restore process. The restore process hadn't been permformed completely, so I restarted the computer and started the restore process again. But then the problem occured. I got a system message that there is already one system created, and that if the restore process finishes without errors, the old system will be deleted. But the restore process stopped at first part of the restore and another one system was created. So now I can't delete those two partly created systems because there is no Configuration wizzard option for stopping/deleting the system (only for restoring the system).
Does anyone have an idea how to resolve this issue, or is my only option to reinstall Windows/800xA and restore its backup?
Thanks in advance,
Hrvoje

Hi , I have some questions
1 - do you have only one node ? if yes ,
stop the 800xA from Maintanance > Stop Server > Delete the system from Config Wizard , Verify if Operate ITData and OperateITemp folders are , if they are , you should delete them manually .
Then do the restore ,
If you have a recent ghost backup from the node , do a ghost or acronis restore and you can save time
If you have more than one node , please get maintanance manual regarding to the version , it shows the procedure when you have some nodes ,

Source: Restore Procedure SV5.0
Stop the services running by cmd afwkill.
Go to regedit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software > ABB > AFW > Systems
Except the GUID{FFFFFFFF..... FFFFF} delete other GUID's
Then delete the OperateITData and OperateITTemp if available.
Then try to restore again.
