Alarm Logger services are in synchornizing state
Hi All,
I restored a PPA backup in the Aspect server 1, and connected all the nodes including aspect server 2.
All services for all the nodes are in service state excpet the Alarm Logger serverices for both the Aspect servers 1 & 2. It showing sychronizing state but not coming to service state.
Could anyone help me in getting the services up and running?

Hello,
Please ensure the following
1.if you are using alarm logger using serial cable then ensure cable is connected with perticuler COM port selected,ensure generic line printer is usedfor configuration of the alrm logger special configuration tab.
These steps above should be followed in the server from where you layed the cable to the other 3rd party alrm prrinter like xforce etc.
once you did this one you have to select the service provider of the node from where the cable layed & now the alarm logger special configuration should show the status as "ready" Now this time your service provider should comes to service mode else it show "sychronising"
2.If you are using "tcp/ip" for alrm logger configuration then you have to configure "tcp/ip" port in the machine form serivce provider server machine through the printer configuration page & connect the 3rd party machine to the plant network then ensure logger is ready in the special configuration window if cable is not connected service provider will show "sychronising"
