Did you try to set it to Factory Default setting.
Are you trying to replace redudanant controller or single ?
Hello,
Since you are using Class C IP address hence subnet mask is wrong so its not allowing to set ip address
Please follow the instructions below to set the IP address.
Class C IP address format is: 110NNNNN.NNNNNNNN.NNNNNNNN.HHHHHHHH
So Class C IP addresses range from 192.0.0.x to 192.255.255.x. The default subnet mask for Class C is 255.255.255.x. where x is host number (maximum host=254)
So here you put IP address as 192.32.16.102 with subnet as 255.255.255.0
instead of 255.255.252.0
Please refer 3BSE034463-510_E_en_System_800xA_5.1_Network_Configuration page 50 onwards for how to configure IP address using implicit/explicit rule.
Am attaching Manual part for how to configure IP address, Please always use implicit format of IP address like 172.16.4x20.Host No means 172.16.80.151 with subnet 255.255.252.0 where 4 is the area number for controller series it starts with area 20 & Host number starts with 151.
refer the recommended IP address for controller & it backup on page 32 3BSE034463-510_E_en_System_800xA_5.1_Network_Configuration
Hello,
Most possible causes of IP setting failures are:
1.Module bus(TB807) & RCU link cable in case redundancy or TB852 terminator in case of single controller configuration has not been terminated
2.Always while performing IP setting restore the factory settings with this it will erase the cloned or old Ip addresses
3.ensure IP address you are setting is unique in the network.
4.May be cable disconnected on restoring the IP address. so please check the cable
Can you share the PR number for the controllers
Just resolved the same exact issue working with technical support. The failed controller I had was PM856 and the replacement was PM856A which required a newer version of firmware. My older firmware was 4.1.3.29, the newer version is 4.1.12.10. I had to upgrade my Control Builder software to 4.1.0-5 from 4.1.0-0.
Once the firmware is upgraded, the IP Config tool works properly, and the application can be downloaded even with the older versions of Control Builder 4.1.
