AC500 (PM573): Modbus RTU byte order (Endianness)
I have PM573 configured as Slave connected to a Modbus RTU network.
I'm able to read data from the Master but bytes are swapped.
I would like to know if it's possible to change byte order in modbus rtu.
I was unable to find any parameter in RTU slave setting, to change the endian type, similar to what is available for MODBUS TCP/IP server, as shown below,
In one site where we had a similar issue, the designer of the Modbus Master software which was polling an AC500 PLC in RTU mode, had to change the endian type in his device's firmware/software.
