Space calculation for Alarms and events in 800xA System
In 800xA System Default Alarm and Event Stroage is 10,000,i want to change this to 1,00,000 ho w much hard disk of connecvtivty server is required for 1,00,000.and what is the calauation which give me idea that 1 alarm or event will take that much space.
which i read in manual it's saying mean message line take 150 Byte and forumla is
Space reuqired= Message line * 150
Please confirm that i am saying rigth or wrong and if i am wrong then whats is the correct formula

System 800xA treats alarms and event differently. what I mean, Active alarms are stored in alarm manager (in aspect server) and default storage size is 10000 alarms. It is recommended to keep it unchanged.
Events are stored in Event storage server (in aspect server) and 10000 events per category class are stored by default. You can modify it based on your requirement and feel that you are talking about event storage server.
You are right 150 bytes are consumed on average per message. While modifying it, it is recommended to keep the default File Count and instead change the File Size.
