Unwanted network traffic from RNRP
Hi,
We have a problem on one of our site, that there is produced a network traffic from RNRP every second. It is directed to 239.239.239.4(8 for test network)
I found that could be because of the loop detection function.
But we have almost same sites, with same network config and there is no problem with that.
How we can stop this traffic?
Thank you for your advices.

Multicast traffic to 239.239.239.x is very likely RNRP.
RNRP is since v5.1 a required feature of System 800xA.
To stop it, you can turn on IGMP filtering in the switches. Doing so will also prevent System 800xA from using that network for client/server traffic. So, don’t block where RNRP is required.
If you see these multicasts on other networks, check your configuration. RNRP will automatically start on all NICs having an address matching implicit addressing rule set (172.16.0.0/22). RNRP can be tailored to only run on designated NICs - read the documentation.
