Can we have server redundancy in compact HMI?
Also till how many IO it is recommended?

Regarding system limits check next thread:
Comapact HMI support redundancy either of the 2 means:
1.Installing two or more Compact HMI Stations in parallel by easily moving the configuration data between them to ensure identical setups.
2.Share the OPC Path insuch a way that either of the two machines failed it should not disturb the OPC of both the servers.

After 5.1 onwards Compact HMI it supports up to 10000 IO signals.

This means that two Compact HMI systems are running in parallel accessing the same controllers. One of the systems are considered to be the main system and the second is the backup system. All configuration changes should be done in the main system and then transferred to the backup system by using the system backup function.
