compact HMI in redundant configuration
As in the picture below, compact HMI supports redundancy,
could you please explain how to configure compact hmi in redundacy way?

I am not sure how the latest vesrion, but compact HMI doesn´t support redundancy (application level = servers/stations HW). To achieve higher availiability there is possible next:
- deploy 2 servers with own licences (2 identical systems) which will be connected to common communication network with controllers. This solution will be complicated to maintain/operate, because every change has to be replicated twice (to each server) include upgrades, etc...
There is also issue in case of remote clients - both systems are independent of each other so there will be necessary to program any interlocking between both systems to set control level.....
- deploy several servers/stations with their own clients (controllers will be connected to defined server = from each station you will be able to control defined process area)
Comapact HMI support redundancy either of the 2 means:
1.Installing two or more Compact HMI Stations in parallel by easily moving the configuration data between them to ensure identical setups.
2.Share the OPC Path insuch a way that either of the two machines failed it should not disturb the OPC of both the servers.
But you need to buy 2 licenses 1for each.

This means that two Compact HMI systems are running in parallel accessing the same controllers. One of the systems are considered to be the main system and the second is the backup system. All configuration changes should be done in the main system and then transferred to the backup system by using the system backup function.
