SG AC410 Database shows unacknowledged alarm, but no alarm event received
System: 800xA 5.1 FP4 RevD RU1
OS: Win7Ent & WinSrv2008R2
Conn: AC400
.
We are currently running 800xA & AdvantOS in parallel (upgrading), and during isolation of an AC410 node today, we received no alarms/events on either system. The AdvantOS HMI showed all tags on the node in alarm state (unack & not active, to be specific) on the displays (symbols read from the database), but didn't show on 800xA displays(symbols read from alarm & event list). In 800xA we could only see an indication of the unack alarms when opening the faceplate (alarm indicator), but couldn't ack it since there was no event. The alarms could be acked from advant.
.
We do get alarms in "normal" cases from the node.
.
1) Are there any known cases which could cause this behaviour?
2) How could/should a situation like this be handled from 800xA system, since we can't ack an alarm not received? Re-creating an alarm would be only way I can see, but in case of many alarms this is a lot of work (we did this when connecting 800xA to MB300 network).

Are the NODE_DESCR filters on the 800xA RTA boards (PU410) in order?
Does the affected objects use custom or default event treatment? Custom treats require corresponding objects to be created on the RTA (EVENTxxx). Its possible to transfer these records from Advant to 800xA with DUDB/LODB and eg. FTP.
