PLC Connect adressing problem
I need to address 2 different PLC connected to an ADSL modem / router. The router has a unique public IP address.
I have 2 controllers in PLC Connect with the same IP address but 2 differents ports and I use NAT rules in the router to direct the modbus requests to the right PLC.
But this doesn't work, the Connect Server sends all the requests to the same port, in fact the first it finds in the list of controllers of the PLC Network.
Do you have any idea to correct or get around this problem.
Thank you in adance for your help.
I would suggest you use a port scanner software such as Cports , to verify whether the PLC connect service is sending the Modbus TCP/IP data over the same ports as those configured in the PLC connect Modbus driver.
I am assuming that you are providing the fixed public IP of the router in the Modbus driver parameter window.
If possible, kindly attach a higher resolution pic of the screen shot and also the port scanner data if possible.
Also, Unit ID for AC500 PLCs is 0 (Assuming you are communicating with AC500 PLCs).
