800xA - Insert PLC Connect tag in a function diagram
How can I insert a PLC Connect tag into a function diagram? I would like to move an analog PLC Connect tag into a FD and connect it to a faceplate.

What I am assuming is TWO POSSIBILITIES. . . .
I am trying to elaborate combining both.
1) You want to write an Analog value,using PLC Connect tag, at some Function BLock:-
Just declare a Tag on your Hardware Module in Coding Tool( that may be Control Builder). After declaration , and selecting its Range and MiliAmp/Volt, Unit there, then come into your Code.
Use then "SIGNAL-IN-REAL", Block from libraries. And at the "IN" input Call that Tag.
-> Come to OBJECT STRUCTURE, of your 800xA.
-> Declare a Real Type new variable there.
-> Then Come to CONTROL STRUCTURE, of your 800xA.
-> Declare a New Variable of type of that created in Object Structure.
-> Go in SIGNAL CONFIGURATION
-> Call you VARIABLE(ANALOG), that you have created/write on your Hardwar Module.
-> Dont FORGET to update the same "RANGE & UNIT " also here.
-> Then on Faceplate Graphic Element, create whatever symbol/icon you want to show ANALOG Value, go in its Properties, and Pick that particular Variable created in your Control Structure.
