IEC61850 Upload error
Hej!

In English:
We have four operating instances installed on a combined AS / CS.
Will now operate a fifth switchgear. New PC (non xA node) is created for this fifth OPC server because it can only be 4st on an xA node. Right?
Or can it only be 4p total against the same AS server?
New Service Provider created as running on the combined AS / CS node but with path to the remote new OPC (Remote OPC) server (OPC) server located on its own PC. Right?
Here it works well to browse and select the OPC DA server on the external PC.
This Service Provider tells us to go to Service.
When we then try to make upload to the SCD file, it happens below.
Do you have any ideas?

When trying to upload the scd file in Control Structure this error appears.
From the log:
Connecting to: IEC 61850 OP DA Server Instance[5] on the machine xxxxx
Connected to the OPC Server!
*
Starting Control Structure retrieve...........
Error: WA5\xxxxxxx
Error: Uploading failed, OPC Server is using different configuration
Error: Failed to do Control Structure retrieve
The upload operation has failed!
End log
We are using the same file when uploading in 800xA as we did when uploading in CET.
Anyone?
Or does anyone know who I should contact in this matter?

Please contact your regional ABB support center, or ABB sales representative.
There is no limit on number of OPC DA Connector service groups possible in a server, you can probably find examples when six is OK and there are for sure situations when two is too much.
It all depends on the application design, size of system, load and available resources.
Only 4 instances are allowed per OPC server in IEC 61850.
You can try appending directly without retreiving, it is seen that it does help in certain cases but with certain limitations for which you might have to work around.
Hello, we have the same problem. did you come up with a good solution?
