How to fix time in CPU Ac800F
I have one CPU AC800F (freelance 2013 version), the time in CPU is 20 minutes delayed, I try to change it using serial cable but it does not work.
although it appears ok in hyperterminal when i put switch in run mode the hour returns to original value.
someone has any idea how to solve this problem.

Hi csanchez411,
I see this question is in relation to your previous question, Two ways you can set Freelance controller time (i) via CBF commissioning mode (ii) Diagnostic cable seems you tried both the options ? Or controller is synchronised via radioclock in that case diagnostic post is engaged - seems it's not the case @ your site. Possibilities are many not getting timesynchronised
Anyways for setting up controller time and synchronise time systemwide check or follow following points.
1 All your freelance system resource should be on 172.16.x.y/255.255.240.0 for default timesynchronisation - I saw in image your have two different ip in image
2 All stations CBF/DigiVis must be enabled for timesynchronisation - Timesynch can be enabled from configure tool. pls note while enabling timesynch cbf/digivis needs to be closed. so if user enables timesynch when cbf/digivis is open please close and open once.
3 Make sure correct timezone is configured. - In configuration mode in Ptree right click on CONF > header > window opens select timezone button. check for correct timezone and select check box for daylightsavings if applicable. if not set this > save configuration and download to controller.
4 Now if you have more than one controller on network then controller at lowest ip address becomes time master by default. or you can go to any controller webserver by typing it's IP address on web browser and check which controller is active timemaster. it shouws resource name or controller name which ever controller is active timemaster.
5 Goto CBF in commissioning mode > Ptree > select controller/resource which ever is active timemaster > go to option in CBF menu >SEt system time. Now while setting time i.e entering actual time value. do it faster don't take much time, because if you enter time value and then take some time (1-2 min) to press OK controller sets time with lag of 1-2 min the time user takes to say ok after user press ok.
now if system meets all 5 points there should be no issue in time synchronisation.
In your case while doing this recommended to remove diagnostic cable and keep controller in running mode. Please replyback if problem persist

Set system time in process station (go online -> Options -> Set system time)
Hope This will solve your problem.
