freelance PM901F data buffering
"As for the local data buffering - You can do this in application, but only on a very limited scale, as there is no way to use external data storage (like SD or USB data storage). I would say it all depends on what You need."
Above statement is from your reply to my post. Can you lightup how we do this? is this is a configuration option available with PM901F controller or we have to develop application blocks to store data locally when communication fails?
Also if I use OPC server for IEC-104 any know case the data retstore is posible after communication reestablish?

I think You're citing my answer, so this is probably a question for me. What I had in mind was a program, that would use data tables (maybe UFBs using ARRAYS of data) and diagnostic functions (connection monitoring M_CONN function block) to store data in case of communication fail. This can be done quite easily, but would be limited as I descibed.
I'm not an expert on IEC 60870-5-104, but I've heard it can work acyclicly, so it could be possible - maybe some other AKSers with some experience in this type of communication can help You with this.
