DCS800-AC800PEC
Hello,
I was seeing your Answer respect to connection between AC800M and DCS800 (some months ago).
Im trying to do the same with a AC800PEC and CI858 with Compac Control Builder.
I have an error when using ABB Engineered Drive (on Unit Statud Tab says: Channel error, Wrong drive type).
Then I tried using ABB Drive Template (basic) and dont have any errors, but dont see any Drive Status. How should I configurate the parameters on the DCS800 for using this template??
Can you help me please?
Thanks!

Hello
Please find the attached drive parameter and set it accordingly i am feeling that your drive parameter are not matching.secondly the screen shot which you attach showing you are ablt to communicate with drive.
Try by adding the standard drive first is there any sepcial requirment of the engineering drive ?
If this will not work then let me know but i appricatate also if you attach the screen shot of the status word which are getting status and this will only possible when u connect to th drive and there should't be any red cross in hard ware structure.
Are you ABB Employee if yes then also send query to your support line with all supporitng screen shots i am not sure that if soultion bank can help you :-)
(i am unable to reply in your Question CI858 Firmaware Upgrade for this i reply here)

Hello,
I did as you suggested and have the errors than you can see in the image.
Could it be the CI858s Firmware?
Im working with a DCS800 Demo, is this relevant??
Thanks!
