Freelance Hart Integration
Hello,
I'm communicating with ABB Temperature Transmitter over HART via Freelance 9.2
Everything seems okay for now.
My question is about attached file. According to that picture I can see actuel value, or electrical resistance.
Do I have any chance to show these values on graphic display?
Thank you for your help in advance.

Hello Titus,
Although what Summit wrote above is true You must remember that Your IO module needs to have full HART support. To my best knowledge the module You are using (the one from Your comment), AI815, doesn't support second & third value transfer. This means that You can see those values in DTM User Interface, but can't transfer them to controller.
On the other hand You can set up one Digivis station so that users can start DTMs from it. This option is called Extended Maintenance Station and can be activated by simply checking the Extended Diagnostics box in DigiVis Header menu. In version 9.2 it also requires a seperate licence. From ver. 2013 this extended diagnostics licence is included in base Digivis licence.
Hope this helps,
Mike

Hi,
You can do so if you are able to insert channels beneath your hart dtm in HW tree, that hw channel value you can show in graphic or in faceplate or use in logic. I have some trouble with FDT/DTM so can't share image but right click on TTX200 DTM and insert channels or modules beneath that node, you should get primary/secondary temperature.
Select primary temp. and insert it. Read same hw channelp in program. then save and download configuration to controller. After going to commissioning mode perform upload to DTM. and try to read that channel value. you should be able to read value displayed in DTM. and once it is available in program same can be read in graphics.
Hope that helps.
