AC800M----total load is %90-95 & Cyclic load nearly 40-50%.
Dear Sir,
Answers
Hi,
Could you please explain what problem do you faced with the application?
From my opinion if the cyclic load is about 50%, it should be OK
Up to 90% total load is considered normal for a PA (not HI) AC 800M controller.
Total load is roughly calculated as: cyclic load + modulebus scanning + network activity + internal tasks
40-50% cyclic load is perfectly OK so to reduce total load to 90% or less I would:
- reduce modulebus scanning to not faster than 2x the fastest task in need of modulebus IO. If fastest modulebus task is 200ms, set modulebus to 100ms.
- reduce MMS traffic to/from other controllers, PP800 and OPC servers
Recommended base load - 60 to 70%
Suggestions:Check ur scan cycle and if possible increase scan cycle timing.
1) Before that check task analysis, if any over lapping task are there try to put offset timer and ensure no overlapping in task execution.
2) If more analog signals used, try to make seperate task and task priority. ( Low, Medium, High priority according to user)
By doing this load can be drastically reduced which reduce CPU hanging problem.

Dear, we already reduce the cycle time from 200ms to 1100ms but in result no changes in load.
And in system we used 500IO'S.
For detail please open the backup.
If I miss the some setting in backup.
