Alarm Manager Service of both the Aspect Servers are in Initialize State.
Facing issue with the Alarm manager Service,
Alarm manager Service is not going to Service State, it is in Initialize State.
I have the attached the Exception_CrashHandler_AdvAeAlarmManager log.
It started after the unexpected Shutdown of the Servers due to UPS Failure.
All other Services are healthy expect Alarms manager Service.
Observered is that AdvAlarmmager windows Process is getting restarted sometimes in the windows task manager.
Tried all Prelimilary things like, Checking and Unchecking the Services, restarting the Servers. The Special Configuration tab is having the default setting with 10,000 Alarm storage.
System Version:5.1 Rev-A, AC800M Connect, also has IEC Connectivity Server.
Sorry no real good idea here.
I get a feeling something is fishy about the current exception logs - they are short, no ABB Afw-functions on the call stack, etc - did the sudden power failure cause damage to some files on disk? But two file corruptions at same time with same effect is less likely.
Reinstalling the ABB Common Third Party bundle and then removing and reinstalling the 800xA Base+revision/rollup has solved odd problems in the past. With media at hand, this should take less than 1/2 hour to perform.
Dump on Exception (full dump) might bring more data, but requires you to submit a formal support case.
