Please recommend me the power rating of fuse on PM865, SM810, BC810 alsoDI880, DO880(main fuse and channel fuse).
In our SIL 2 ESD system use
1)0.5A fuse on PM865
2)0.5A fuse on SM810
3)0.5A fuse on BC810
4)0.5A fuse on DI880(TU810) main supply and Also 0.5A each 16 channels(some how when our field wire short it blown main fuse not channel fuse) please tell me the max tolerable Current rating on each channel
5)0.5A fuse on DO880(TU810) main supply(we use realy on each 16 channel output (each relay load is 42.5mA))

1.PM865 draws a max current of 487mA at 24V Since due to conversion losses when the current supply to module bus & CEX bus the power dissipation increases by 5W hence 487mA+208mA=695mA since we won't get 695mA hence we will put 1A.
2.For SM810:max continuos load current is itself 0.5A So let it be 0.5A Since max short circuit current is <2.4mA
3.For BC810:It draws a max current of 70mA(1.7W) at 24V & its better to put 0.5A.
4.For DI880:It draws a max current of 527mA at 24V, since we won't get 527mA hence we will put 1A.
5.For DO880: It draws maximum continuos load current of 8A/module at 55degc
Perchannel draw a current of 0.5A Hence better to put 1A
There are various levels where fuse is being installed like Main Suppy, two fuses in Base plate of AC800M Controller, One for CEX Bus and other for Module Bus.
- The recommended fuse rating for the external mains supply of a standard AC 800M
Controller configuration is 10A of "Delayed action fuse" type.
- Typical current consumptions with 24 Volt Supply is:
- PM865 287mA
- SM810 160mA
- BC810 50mA
- ModuleBus and CEX-Bus recommended with 24V Power suply:
Upper Fuse-holder – ModuleBus – fuse 2 A Fast
Lower Fuse-holder – CEX-Bus – fuse 3.15 A Fast
