IM message log configuration
During setup of message log on our Information Management server, we created a new message log as a new object in Node Administration Structure under our IM server. When selected Mode: Active, an error occurred.
Please refer to attached pic for the current error.
Niether the datadirect nor the A/E configuration can find our newly created IMMSGLOG.
We verified that the ADO Data provider is started and in Automatic startup mode.
We wonder what is the missing step in our installation.
is it a new IM you are trying to use, or do you have working numerical logs and so on since before ?
If it's a new IM I have to ask if you Added the IM as a "connectivity server" ?
Did you use the Oracle Instance Wizard, creating space for Message Logs ?
Do Oracle write some error message to the "Alert" file ?
