800xA: Alarms from a specific controller are no longer being updated
Alarms are no longer being updated from one of the PM861 controllers in our system. No new alarms are showing up in the alarm lists. One existing alarm is stuck in the alarm list as acknowleged and active despite the alarm condition being long gone. Alarms from other controllers are OK. Data (OPC DA) works fine.
This happened suddenly, there haven't been any downloads to the controller recently.
Restarting the Alarm Manger and Event Collector services did not help.
The controller setting that defines the max. number of OPC AE subscriptions appears to be sufficient (3). The controller log contains nothing of interest. Are there any other log files I can check?

Solved by removing and re-adding the controller from the Alarm & event tab in the OPC controller.
There was a happy smiley face on the controller even before removing and re-adding it, but apparently that doesn't mean there is a healthy connection between the controller and the OPC server)
