Importing tags to Panel Builder 600
Hello ABB community,
I seem to have a problem importing my tags from Automation Builder v2.0 Premium to Panel Builder 600 (PB600). I've been doing so by saving a symbol file and importing it to PB600.
Whenimporting the tags in PB600, only my OBIO variables appear (Image_1). These variables are the ones asigned to the IOs of my PLC (Image_2).
I need the other variables (Image_3) of my PLC_PRG POU to appear on the tag list of PB600.
I also noticed that they don't appear anywhere on the Resources tab of CodeSys (Image_4).
Is there an extra step I need to do?
Thanks a lot for your help!

probably the sequence that you use to export from Codesys the tags file is uncorrect.
First you have to defined in Automation Builder and in Codesys the name of the tags that you want to export in Panel Builder, bool, word ecc.
1) Codesys action:
From resource --> select workspace --> symbol configuration. Deselect the flag dump symbol file and open configure symbol file.
You obtain the follow screen:
Remove the flags of all export and write box.
Reselect what you decide to export, as follow for example:
Close the windows with OK button, select dump symbol file.
Rebuild the program from Codesys --> Project --> Rebuild all
2) Automation Builder action:
Main tree of the project, select in your tree "application", right mouse --> Export --> symbol file and select the folder where save the .sym file
In panel builder select import tag and choose the file that you have saved, then you have the new symbol file imported in your project. At this point you can decide which tag to import in your Panel Builder project.
Hope this help you
