DP/DP Coupler with CI854 communication
I have to do communicate Siemens DP/DP Coupler with ABB controller & CI854 module. I I am goin to do this for the first time, SO anyone can please share some document on how to proceed as I have to work on a running plant.

I have done similar project for controlling UMC100.
I have followed the below methodology:
3rd party node will be connected to the ABB Controller by means of a PROFIBUS DP link utilizing a DP/DP Coupler.
DP/DP Coupler type is Siemens, 6ES7158-0AD01-0XA0
ABB Controller will act as a gateway between 3rd party nodes and UMC100s, allowing control of specified motors from 3rd party nodes, and sending back status of the UMC100s to the nodes.
The configuration of the DP/DP Coupler implemented as 16 bytes output consistent and 16 bytes input consistent unsigned.
All signals will be assigned as a 2 byte to DINT unsigned and then decoded to status/control bits, and mapped to their respective sending/receiving locations.
Byte swapping will be required for all signals due to communication between Siemens and ABB PLCs. This byte swapping will be done by 3rd party nodes for sent / received signals. If not we have to do byte swapping after receving.
Thus, commands received from 3rd party nodes received as DINT, decoded in to status bits, mapped to each UMC100 function block and transmitted as a DINT Unsigned to the UMC100.
Status from each UMC100 will be received as DINT, decoded as status bits and re-transmitted to 3rd party nodes as DINT signals.
All signals sent/received will be mapped without any manipulation of the signals from ABB controller.
cyclic time of ABB controller set to 200 ms.
