Can AC450 be modbus CI534V02 slave?
Hi. Can AC450 be modbus CI534V02 slave? I know that the manual indicates this but so does AC460 manual but it is said to not work as slave. If AC450 can be setup as slave is there an basic .ba or .bax file as working example for me?
I have config or setup all options regarding net, node, remotenode, id, send, recieve, write i, read i, 40001 x 40 INT, 30001 x40 INT, etc. with the basic setup for mvimod, chan, mvn and mvb with no luck. Am I right to conclude that AC450 as slave does not work?
I am using modbus simulator (alprowin mdbus) set to master, on a pc with com1 and null modem female-female db9 cable.
The AC450 and AC460 are ENTIRELY different things with totally different operating systems. AC460 is a MOD300 system and not in any way related to Advant Master. They just happen to share some common hardware.
The programming manuals for the MVI interface describe how to set up an AC450 master and an AC410 slave - But in this case there is no practical difference between an AC410 and an AC450. Set up your AC450 Slave just like the AC410 slave.
If you believe you REALLY have everything set up, but you think its possible you messed with the basic card and channel settings during commissioning - DUAP and LOAP the controller again to fully cold start it.
Advant Master MVI links can be a pain to set up - but once working they are very reliable.
